ART 384 COLLABORATIVE DIRECTED COLLECTION Statement and sample moodboard

Statement:

This collection was inspired by the one of  looks of Rudi Gernreich exhibition. We came together with the same inspiration and made a collection. We were inspired by the bright use of colors, the 1960s silhouettes, the texture of the feathers and the Native American headdress.

The garment that we chose as our inspiration was the peacock garment. It is a long sleeve high neck A-line top with matching form fitting spandex leggings. The garment was made from an abstract peacock print.
